About Us

Changing Times is an annual European Young Adults Forum designed for participants aged 20 and above. Changing Times is run by youth for youth and aims to encourage action. It takes place once a year in the last week of December at the Townshend International School in the Czech Republic.

The project has a threefold aim: to educate, inspire and facilitate the socialization of Bahá'í youth. The seminar topics will expose participants to subjects that are of acute interest to Bahá'í youth and relevant for their lives. It is the goal of these seminars to inspire participants to the extent that they return to their communites charged to make their contribution to the welfare of humankind, particularly at such a critical point in the history of the world. With past seminars bringing together 230 youth from over 30 countries, our participants have the opportunity to interact with a diverse pool of people and cultures.

This project began by personal initiative. What originally started as a group of four, has now grown into an ever-expanding Changing Times family with many volunteers participating to make the project possible. We hope that in time this initiative will be passed on and taken over by future generations of young adults.
